Serious market data costs $32k a year. or forty open tabs.
Following the whole market means stitching together a dozen sites, one for equities, one for crypto, one for the yield curve, one for macro prints, none of which talk to each other, and none of which tell you what it all means. Bloomberg Terminal solves it at $31,980 a year per seat; nothing sensible sits between that and a pile of free tabs.
MacroPulse is that middle: a single-user dashboard that assembles 40–60 live metrics from public and low-cost providers, FRED, Polygon, CoinGecko, into one Koyfin-class surface, adds a market-regime read, and puts an AI analyst on top of the data. Informational only, no advice logic, password-gated for one user.
One surface. Six categories. Forty-plus live metrics.
Each category gets its own dense panel, Markets (indices, breadth, futures), Macro (GDP, CPI, jobs, Fed funds, treasuries), Commodities (gold, oil, gas, metals), Crypto (BTC, ETH, SOL, ADA, XRP), every figure sparklined and colour-coded, refreshed every minute during market hours from FRED, Polygon, and CoinGecko.
Not just the numbers. what they add up to.
The Market Regime view scores growth, inflation, liquidity, and sentiment into a single 0–100 read with a plain-English label, "mid-cycle expansion", so the dashboard tells you the weather, not just the temperature.
Movers surfaces the day's top gainers and losers across the universe, and the Global Economy panel tracks FX, global yields, and PMIs, the cross-currents that move everything else.
From the whole market to a single ticker in one click.
Click any metric and MacroPulse opens a full detail page, a complete stat panel and a TradingView chart across 1D, 5D, 1M, 6M, YTD, 1Y, 5Y, and MAX, drawing on 30–50 years of daily history where it exists.
A pinned watchlist keeps the tickers that matter one glance away, with quick add and inline management, the personal layer on top of the market-wide view.
An analyst that reads the whole dashboard for you.
A persistent AI insight column runs beside the data: an executive summary of the session, key takeaways, section notes per asset class, and a chat that answers ad-hoc questions, "what's driving the 10Y lower today?", grounded in the dashboard's own numbers, never generic.
Two scheduled jobs write a morning and an afternoon summary paragraph and file them to a searchable archive, so the narrative of the market is captured day over day. Claude via the Vercel AI SDK; informational only, no advice.
One user. One password. Tuned to taste.
MacroPulse is a private, single-user tool, a Next.js middleware password gate instead of a full identity provider. Preferences control the metric universe, refresh behaviour, the summary schedule and time zone (US Eastern), and the light / dark theme, so the dashboard reflects exactly one person's market.
A personal terminal. for the price of a few API keys.
