- Bridgewater turns clinic check-in from a shared paper sheet into a private, PIN-gated flow, parents on the tablet, admins on the web, with a complete, exportable attendance record that stands up to HIPAA.
Sign-in sheets on a clipboard aren't HIPAA-compliant.
Clinics check kids in and out on paper sign-in sheets or a shared spreadsheet, where every family can see every other family's name, and there's no reliable record of who dropped off or picked up whom, or when. For a setting bound by HIPAA, that's both a privacy risk and a compliance gap.
Bridgewater replaces the clipboard with a secure, multi-user tablet flow for parents and behavior technicians, backed by an admin web portal that keeps a searchable, exportable attendance trail, with encryption and PIN-gated access throughout.
Onboard once, then check in with a tap.
A first-time parent sets up a profile: their role, any additional guardians, and each child, then a secure PIN. After that, checking a child in or out is a few taps on the clinic tablet, ending in a clear confirmation of who was checked in, and exactly when.
A forgotten PIN never means a locked-out parent.
Every parent's access is a PIN, not a shared password. Forget it, and recovery is a quick emailed code and a new PIN: no staff intervention, no waiting-room bottleneck.
And when someone's details aren't registered, the tablet says so plainly and points them to the primary parent or guardian, so mix-ups never turn into the wrong adult checking a child out.
Every check-in, on one searchable web dashboard.
Admins work from a browser, not the tablet. The dashboard lists every check-in and check-out, child, guardian, timestamp, with search to find any record in seconds and a one-click Generate Report.
Reports filter by date range or by user, and export to CSV so attendance can go straight into audits, billing, or compliance records.
Portal access is admin-provisioned and password-gated.
Admins create and manage Office Manager credentials, controlling exactly who can open the portal. Sign-in is a secure email + password with standard forgot-password recovery: the web counterpart to the tablet's PIN model.
Incorrect attempts are flagged, and access is scoped by role so each person sees only what they should.
Built for a setting where privacy is the point.
Every surface is HIPAA-aware: data encryption in transit and at rest, PIN- and password-gated access, per-role permissions, and an attendance trail that's exportable but never publicly exposed. Password recovery is token-gated, and nothing about one family is ever visible to another.
